EnterpRISE at Open Works Application Deadline
Are you a maker? Do you have a great product idea? A revolutionary manufacturing process?
Building a business is hard. That’s why we’re launching EnterpRISE at Open Works. More than just a pitch contest, it’s a 6-week business boot camp designed to help you RISE!
Open Works is one of the largest nonprofit makerspaces in the United States, packed with 7 different fabrication workshops, a computer lab, two classrooms, 140 small studio spaces, and a coffee shop! We are designed to support artists, craftspeople, and small businesses no matter where they are on their journey. We offer membership access to tools; affordable studio rentals; and a wide variety of classes for both young people and adults.
Applicants must be a resident of Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or District of Columbia 16 years or older.
We are specifically looking for product- or manufacturing-based ideas, but will consider all ventures that could leverage a makerspace to grow.
Nonprofits and social enterprises are also welcome to apply.
Teams of up to five accepted.
Employees of Open Works are not eligible.
