ETC company Encore Path and graduate company Millennial Media were honored at the 8th annual "American Business Awards" (Stevie Award). The Stevie awards are considered “the Oscars” of the business world.
Encore Path that makes devices for recovery from stroke and brain injury, won a Stevie Award for “Best New Product or Service of the Year” for its Tailwind rehabilitation device. The Tailwind helps stroke and brain injury survivors with paralysis recover their arm movement and regain their independence.
 
Encore Path competed along with long-time leaders of American industry. Encore Path beat out other finalists for “New Product or Service of the Year” including products such as an external defibrillator and services such as a LEED certification training program.

Millennial Media, one of the early market makers in mobile advertising, won a Stevie Award for "Most Innovative Company of the Year" for their proprietary technology to reach 4,000 different kinds of mobile devices, and eight out of 10 mobile users.
 
Stevie Awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year.  More than 2,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.   
More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the Finalists and Stevie Award winners.
